Hey Outlawntexas,

What are you asking for your 1998. My 24 was a 1998 and I got $36,000 in trade back in 2001 which I thought was very good. They were going to give me $40,000 until they found out that my engine was not a Merc.

Smile Selling My H2x

Dan, this may help in pricing your boat...I purchased a new 2002 H2X in June of this year....It is loaded to the hilt with the Boss package which i thing included stainless rubrail, pop-up cleats, 496 HO, upgraded stereo with amps and subs, Fire supression, dual ram tabs, Quick and Quiet, SmartCraft option, side pick-ups, custom wheel, custom,Eagle trailor with custom rims, Cockpit cover,Lorange depth sounder, Snap in carpet...and other options that I am sure i have forgotten. Price out the door was less that $44,000. It had two hours of test time on it.

Hope this helps.

Well, after some LOWball offers, two no-shows, a donation / tax deduction offer, and one Nigerian scam it looks like I'll be holding onto the H2X for awhile longer. All I wanted to do was to save a few bucks each month but I have a feeling I really would've missed NOT having a boat next Summer. I think I'm happy with how things turned out

I am sure you will be glad you did. Don't you just love the so called "buyers" who act like they have you over a barrell and you have to take those low-ball offers. Let them go elsewhere and try and steal a boat...true is they could not afford the boat to begin with!!!!!

When I sold my Fountain, I got more calls from brokers who wanted to list my boat than actual buyers. Then there were the calls from people who just want to bull$hit about boating. I then understood why people put "serious inquiry only"

Mark,
I bought mine in eastern Tennessee. It was new and was perfect for my use in a lake I live on. The boat has been flawless with no problems at all. My dealer water tests each boat before he sells them and that catches most of the problems we read about on this and other Baja boards.

I see my your name that you must also own a H2X...What's your overall opinion of the boat?

My e-mail is [email protected]
See Ya
JIM
