All boats do have thier pros and cons but the 33 outlaws are pretty amazing boats especially for the money. Everything about the boats is great or above average PLUS the cockpits are a bonus! Look behind the dressed up McLeod interior and monster gauges. Their wiring is horrendous. They use screws in many places that should be through botled. Interior panels and back seats held in with plastic body clips, worst headliner design known to man. To me they spent a lot of time and money on flash, and skipped engineering 101. But, not bad boats overall and great for relative newbies. Safe, and stable. Great lines. The 2,3,4 or even 5 cooler thing kills me. Haven't you guys heard of soft coolers? Are you handing out free drinks to the entire bay all day? |

If my shed was already built and was ready to move upto the 33, your boat would already be in Minnesota ;) |

www.aocoolers.com are the best on the market. Most of the others will bleed dye and leak. AO has lifetime warranty. I have at least 6 of them, probably more.
I don't allow hard coolers on my boat. |
Sometimes I wonder if we only run the Boyne Thunder Poker run to get a free soft cooler................:ernaehrung004:

Hello I'm new to the forum but I would like to tell all Boaters who have had a McLeod Designed interior. That recently we here at HRT have purchased the Mcleod Design Group, we are currently available for any updates to your interiors or new interiors sorry for the delay. Many banks and legal issues had to be solved before going forward I hope we can help all our offshore Powerboat friends in bringing the high quality of Mcleod interiors back under the new Name of HRT. We have retained all of the interior components and personal to continue making great high class interiors, thank you and sorry for the delay. For updates to interiors contact me, here on the forum or please feel free to call.
Sincerely Miraj D'Ave Project Engineer HRT 248-284-1170 EXT: 113 |

How wide is the floor on your 33 Outlaw at it's widest point? Let's make sure we all use the same yardstick here. There is give and take. There isn't enough money on this planet to get me to change impellers on a 33 Outlaw sans pulling a motor. While the cockpit is huge on the 33 Outlaw, the engine room and cabin are smaller than other boats. There is only so much real estate in 33' feet of OAL.

I've got a friend with a 37AT. I would seriously consider that as my next boat because of the steps and room. ......But would I trade my current 33 and $100grand for it??? Hell no!. The 33 is not the fastest but it has to be the best damn boat for the money hands down.
