Thanks again y'all. Still LOVE my Baja's and would have bought another one but it just didn't work out this time. If we do Tickfaw this year NAILIT we'll look you up! 97FASTech we will see! Hoping to have the boat delivered to Canyon Lake Marina Friday the 10th/Saturday the 11th. My wife's bday is that weekend and I know a bunch of the group there is planning a party for her... Will have to see if I am working that weekend of the fun run.

Sounds good, the Tickfaw is always a good run, lots of fuel to burn and easy to find your way around. We left Maurepas and from that mouth across that lake and lake pontchatrain was 50 miles back. Weather was great and water fairly flat for a change.

Guess I haven't looked in on this thread in a while
CONGRATS on the new boat.
The 388 is a wicked fast hull with big power and will still be plenty fast with your 500's.
I'm super jealous, that model was one of my faves during my search years ago.
Way to go on y'alls purchase!!!
See ya
