Default 33' Outlaw x-dimension

I know some of you guys have changed your drive height and the height was different from year to year, so.... Whats the best x dimension to run on a 33' without extension boxes?

I think the -1/-2 may work on the older boats like mine (99) but im not sure they work so well on the newer ones. Basically Im just looking for some real world experience. I'd also like to know what people experienced when changing from 1.5 to 1.36 gears. It's time for a drive upgrade for me and im just trying to get my ducks in a row on what my best possible setup would be with out doing it 5 times and learning the hard expensive way.

When I measure from the bottom of the hull to the center of my prop shaft, on the inside of the drives, I get about 6.5-6.75. If im not mistaken these boats are supposed to be fastest when that measurement is about 4.5?

I'm not sure if the 33 outlaws are the same but I know the factory raised the x on the 29 outlaws two inches in 2002

mine are deep as well, I had read that late 01 or 02s had the X's raised on the 33s and 342 that added a little speed. 4-5mph I think

I am curious about this as well....
