Im running 28's non-labbed, and my engines are built to turn 5600 but the best I can do per the factory tachs is around 5000 rpm at 77-78 mph. No boxes, and 6.5-6.75 on the prop shaft height from the bottom of the boat.

My ears were burning...I just wandered off of Bourbon Street, back to the Monteleone and thought I'd check in, so forgive me if I don't make total sense.

02' was the "x" change took place...I would check with Dave @ XT and see if he has any info on the amount of increase over the pre 02' and base it on that....if he cant provide that,
maybe call Hawkeye and see what they ordered for drive height on the 33's they ordered....those worked well.

don't go to 1.36...you are no where near the point where you run out of the good props available for a 1.5

What power/drive height setup? I could probably hit 80 with a set of labbed 28's but I think I may be better off going to a set of 26's with some cup work?

If you go higher "cup" will be mandatory or it wont carry the bow.

Okay, now lets find out who's who.... Are you guys spinning in or out? You will need to spin in once you get higher. I feel like a broken record - or it wont carry the bow. LOL
