I just tried my new 23 mirage prop on my Baja 232 (496mag/375ph) that Darin of Houston propeller worked for me. It performs very well! The hole shots and midranges are better than before plus I gained 2mph (69-70mph, no gps) and I’m still bouncing off the rev. limiter (4950rpm). I’m sending this prop back to Darin for more work. Darin says he can add even more cup or as he said "sprinkle more go-fast on it” too pickup more top-end and drop rpms down.

I used a friends GPS last month with the old prop and found my Speedo to be 1-2 mph fast than GPS. So my real speed once everything is said and done with this prop should top out at around 69mph. All test runs have been done with two adults and about 40 gallons of gas.

I’ll keep everyone updated as we progress.

Darin,

Good to see you on this board. You've provided some good advice and service on TBM.

I'll be sending you a pair of B1s for repair and balance and the other pair we talked about.

I'll send you an email when they're on the way.

Karl

Darin

Do you think I would see much difference? Heres what I have. 27' baja with twin 350mags turning 23p mirage (not plus) @ 4600. I bought the props after I got the boat. Both are RH, I have alphas on it. One of them appears to be labbed (thinner blades) and the other looks thicker. On the thicker propped engine, It seems like it is always behind. on WOT the engines sync together, but it seems like the labbed prop engine is always revving faster and higher. Heres a pic to show where it sits in the water.

What do you advise on the props?

JASON , There is no question there is work to be done on the props , when you send them in take a black magic marker and right on the blades /what each props is running for rpm, yes we need to get ALOT MORE LIFT. Other than that it looks as if it was a great day on the lake. HURRY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE GREAT DEALS GOING ON RIGHT NOW. just shoot me a e- mail of your contact number, and we will get you UP and running fasterthan ever in THE BAJARUNNER. nice boat.

Darin

emails coming over with contact info. Heres another picture, it sits in between the 2 pics. I think its way too low in the front.

I would like to get the props into you and see what you can do.

Thanks

HI! I own a 2000 232 with a 7.4 MPI 310 HP. Prop is 23 Mirage Plus. Running 62 MPH GPS. 4550 WOT.

Would a labed 25 Mirage plus do something for me? Need for more speed. Hole shot is good right now.

Thanks
