Default 1997 24 Outlaw engine hatch rot

We have a 1997 24 foot outlaw.. great boat has never had any major issues until now the wood under the vinyl on the engine hatch has rotted and the hinges partly came out on one side causing it to sink down a bit. Wondering if anyones had a problem like this and I am curious to where they went with this?

Best to get it fixed now before more damage is done. Are you close to Ohio?

Bring it to Bucyrus where it was born! We will fix that issue in a flash. Check us out at: www.xt-innovationsDOTcom

By all means take it to XT. It will be better than new when they are done.

I had a 24 97 outlaw. Great boat. Handles a lot better than it's size would lead you to think. Ran it in the Pacific Ocean hard for 7 years before selling.

The engine hatch is a COMMON issue. Other issue to look for is the bolsters pulling out of the floor because they were screwed down not through bolted.

I've never met or used XT but they are the go to people for Baja. Closest thing to taking it back to the factory you'll find considering I believe he and most his employees worked at Baja.

Drag if over there and have them through bolt the bolsters while they're at it!
