I didn't want to be THAT guy who rafts up that no one knows and blasts the stereo, so it was kept at very low volumes. Did you pull the trigger on a control? I can't say enough about mine, it makes it so much easier to control the boat at slow speeds docking, trailering, or just dodging through the channel. And, they look bad ass.

I haven't yet, but I am going to. My shifter is sticky going into reverse. I just took it out really for the first time yesterday.

100% I would put the subs right where I have them. This setup absolutely pounds, and sounds extremely clean. I'm sure you could go with cheaper subs and a smaller amp and have great results. Less chance of them getting wet where they are, and in the space I would have had to use for the subs in the bench, I was able to install those coolers while still maintaining the storage area in the center. No regrets. Just need to work on getting some better placed highs to balance out all of the bass I have available.

Thanks bud, I really appreciate it. If you don't mind and have the chance I'd love to see a template you used for your sub enclosures. I don't like copying people but since our boats are the same and yours worked so well I'd love to do the same.

Thanks! Did you just screw the sub box to the floor from the inside of the box?

I still have not completed the exterior finish on the boxes and have not secured them yet. They bounce around and don't stay in place very well I just have not taken the time to finish it out. I plan to secure them to the wood panels that housed the old 6x9" speakers that you can see in the pictures.
