I have a 1999 Baja Islander 252 with the 7.4 MPI. While not the fastest on the water it is very dependable and sips fuel. Top speed in perfect conditions and light fuel is 52 mph according to the GPS. I have 640 hours on it in salt water and other than flushing after every run, and routine maint. It has never been apart. The only downside is that it's not real fast.
