I still think if you were looking for a boat and you had time to get there it would be worth a look, you never know what you might come up with.

Waz with these newer Outlaws. Looked at a 2000 33'. Boat was great shape outside, then I got inside all the interior had all yellowed. I've always owned Baja's (3) and never had this happen in any of them.

Thumbs down yellowing

The 97's and early 98's dash and glove box panels were known to yellow. Baja changed the irradescent paint midway thru 98. Rithchie compasses still yellow (whats up w/that)????

Yep they did,,,I have a 97 272 with the dash panels that look black and white, then change tp purple in the right light,,, I probably have the only ones in existance that still look good and are original, but I was told from the beginning about this and the panles always had towels on them when the boat was parked at the beach.

I was dumb enough to do this instead of letting them yellow right away and getting them warrantied !!!!!!!

My compass was really yellowed as well. I replaced it with an Azimuth unit (which has a nice full cover). The Clarion cover is also yellowed and looks pretty crappy. Probably replace it as well.
Access Technologies has some covers that look pretty good. Supposed to be UV stable and can be painted as well.
