as of now, that amp has more power than the 4.3!!!

Keeping the 4.3 and looking at maybe---

pistons 9:1 cr
carb
intake mani
cam
valve covers chrome
pulleys
prop labbed
drive shower
?pre oiler?
neons for gunnels

motor
flywheel
mounts
fuel system
carb
headers
exhaust
drive
S pipes for exhaust
prop

those alone=7k+
then installation..... etc......

so probably around 10k. the boat isnt worth 10k.

I figure with the 4.3 modded a bit, i can get some speed, still run an alpha, still keep her light, and get good gas mileage which means more use

Well, since my boat was getting the new motor put in most of the summer....And I live in Southern Cali......I'll be boating this "Off Season"

I think it's 78 out right now!

Yeah yeah Yeah.......

Hey Doc, right onman, it is going to be interestign to see how this thing shakes down. Looking forward to April to run this beast. I like building and dynoing as well. Thinking about offshore mounts as well if I can find a deal on them. That way when the boat breaks in half the motor will still be mounted.....

I hear you there Gary! It sucks outside! I don't think I'll be doing anything to the boat over the winter. I did everything last winter.
