Default whats everybody "doing" during the "off season"

Alright,
for those of us that are
in "mothballs" til spring,

let's find out what everybody's
"doing" this winter,

"doing" = new, different boat.

"doing" = engine mod's, drive's, prop's, etc.

"doing" = stereo, paint, graphic's, hull mod's, etc.
alright, i'll start,
add oil temp gages, and if santa's good to me,
add CMI headers.

everyone chime in

Since the season ended, I have added water pressure guages, GPS speedo, Billet Flame Arrestors, totally detailed the boat inside and out, cleaned bilge, changed engine oil and filters, rebuilt both sea water pumps and changed oil in fuel pumps, winterized the fresh water systems, changed gear oil in outdrives and sent props back to Houston Propeller.

Thursday we are pulling the boat to Jacksonville to leave for some warranty work. They are replacing the headliner in the cuddy, doing a small gel repair, and checking out the A/C unit.

They are also going to pull the drives and lube the u-joints and gimbles, and pull off the mufflers and add the new exhaust tips I ordered, and finally add sea strainers.

Man, I am spending as much time on the boat as I do in the summer, just on the trailer instead of in the water.

When the boat gets back, a boating friend that does stereo work is adding two more speakers and two more amps to the system. The Polk system is really nice, it just needs a little tweaking.

Like most of you guys, I would rather be boating, or working on the boat than anything else.

I cannot wait till summer, this baby is going to be right!

JT29, I hope santa come through with the headers.

Time now to get out the snow skis

Motor refresh, stereo upgrade, upgrading trailer brakes to disk.

If I was doing all of that, we would not get to boat for a couple of seasons. Good luck and have fun, cannot wait to hear the results.

As for the sex change, you had better consult with Tank to find out what he prefers!

Have a good one

I'll be looking for a new boat hopefully a 36 Outlaw or 38 Formula. Let's hope the economy gets better.

That's a good thing!

Just wait till you get it, and you will be spending way too much time wishing you were on the lake driving it.

Good luck
