Man what an awesome build! You dont mess around!
The shop I work at use to be a Baja dealer for about 10 years. We ordered a Baja Hammer for a Guy once with no engine/drive. Blank hull. We installed a transom bracket for the Guy and hung his 2 stroke 300 Evinrude on it. Wonder if that boat is still around somewhere....

The 280s seem to work pretty good, but I definitely can feel the difference with the tab at nuetral. Actually running wot, trimmed out, I have to put them at neutral or a hair down to stop the slight porpoise
My 25p revs bent down to 23p didnt perform like I thought and were 4mph slower than the 23.5p Rev4 xp’s at 78, just over 1/2 fuel and water was glass. With a lil chop and I think I could get close to 80.
JT, Did you or anyone else ever try 5 blades?
When I raise to 4.5” mark, I start slipping more, but at around 4”, she is running around 12-13 % slip at WOT and around 14 at 50-55,
Still fairly deep in the water. Prop shaft is still 5” or so below hull. Still have about 2.5” that I could move up, but dont really want to put the jack plate all the way up.

with 32 bravo’s, cruise speed was 52 mph at 3800 rpm, 32 maximus’s
58 mph at 3500 rpm, this is where you spend most of your time.
Bravo’s loose their efficiency above 32” so I never bothered trying anything larger.
When the engines were stock, there was 500 rpm difference in RPM at the top,
between the 4 and 5 blades, the 4 blades were always on the limiters, when it cooled off, the 4 blades were useless and the 5 blades still had room to pull,
so all in all, the 5 blades worked best.
I think yours would work good with them, especially since you can continue to
raise the engines.
I would probably go with the Max 5 over the Maximus.
Mine were basically
what later became the max 5, smaller diameter, reshaped blades and cut down ex tube

Thanks.. I may look at testing some 5 blades then. I would probably need a 21-22p if 500 holds true. I still need to run mine again as the last time my WOT was off by 150rpm , but ended up having to level the motors based on the bottom instead of the rub rail. (it was off by 3/8 or so in height)
Rpms were around 6200 and 6350.. I havent run since I matched height, so I may bring to prop shop to make sure they are pitched the same.
Note: WOT is at 6400 and peak power is listed between 6200-6400. (wot range is 58-6400)

Finally got the wiring tied up. Also built a removal storage rack so I can clean out to cuddy.
I strapped down 2 large bins and strapped them down. Anchors are now in gunnel area and the rest of the motor monkeys, couple rafts, and towels are in the bins.
Probably pulled 200lbs out the bow!

Finally got around to doing my other dash panels in carbon fiber. Ordered black replacment switch covers. Also swapped out my Lowrance and put my GPS Speedo back on.. Dial is much easier to read at speed (and my aging eyeballs lol)

Also tried to hit 80 in this cold weather.. Well…. I was running 6250-6300 in summer and now running over 6400…. But rev limit slows me back down, so I guess I need a lil more pitch or cup, but definitely doable!! Could pull 6450 before is put the brakes on me. O/b rev limit is definitely softer than the old Mercruisers!
I think I need to update the steering wheel next. Not sure what I want though.. but probable Red as it seems to pop.
Also, look below the trim tab buttons.. thats a cell phone charge in the shape of a rocker switch w/ digital voltage display.

Nice! Thats moving! I thought about triple 300s, but I wanted to keep some rear access. I could probably get mine into the 80s if I put some 5 blades and raise them up more, but wanted more reliable and dont want to air out and replace drives.
We will be out there for both as well!! Holla if you see us! Richie

yea 2 totally different hulls
this 1 is set up for good speed in the snotty water as why chose this hull and 1 of the last 32 fiore builds before he left to outerlimits
to make the 37 steletto off the 32
so more bracing and more foam coring in the build to be lighter and strong
was a good candidate for the conversion to be quick and ride on top in the snot
was disappointed in last yrs tickfaw ,,,,but blind river bar was packed for their opening
so hope they get things together this yr better
will be looking for u
again your boat turned out nice
