Bob,

I was just thinking the same thing....I was either going to re-do my current traillite trailer or look at a new one. I like the Extreme trailers..out of Havasu I think. But for your big boat you may want to look at Myco or one of the other big trailer makers. Good luck.

Guys,

I have never seen anything that compares to the Myco.

Had a Loadmaster under the Baja 272. Did not support the boat well in my opinion. Was always a ***** to get the boat lined up evenly. Seemed that I always had to back down in the water a second time. I paid $3500.00 for it and sold it for $3000.00 just three months after I bought it.

Turned around and bought a Myco for $5200.00 and could not have been happier.

The dealer tried to sell me on Eagle for the new 36, I told him it was Myco or nothing.

There is not a trailer out there that pulls, loads and uploads like the Myco. They are the Cadillac!

They have the best wheel seal in the industry, the best lubrication system on the bearings. Mine came stock with LED lights all around and 16 inch wheels and Goodyear tires. It has eight bunks for complete support of the boat. There is no way to load it wrong, it loads the first time everytime and supports the boat great.

When it comes to a 29 to 30 foot twin engine boat and up in length, you want something good under it. They are expensive, but WELL worth it. You get what you pay for.

I have around 3000 miles on mine now and I would not trade it for three loadmasters or other bolt together trailers.

The highways are rough, get something that will protect your investment.

Mark

I'll tell you this story......

I had some brake problems when new.....I called Eagle direct...
They said DON'T MOVE IT !!!
They sent a truck to my house from Mich. Mon AM...Took the boat to Captains Cove...Unloaded it...Towed the trailer to Mich....
Could'nt find anything wrong with brakes so they put all new
Disc brakes {3 axles} on it,and had it back before the weekend
as promised !!!! Now THAT is customer service !!!!!!!

BTW....I didnt "*****" or anything...This was there idea...

im not exactally sure what trailer I have but it is all welded together
I believe the tag on the inside of the one runner says Dico or Dyco (not Myco)
I have had the fender break its weld 2 times on me already, keep welding it back up and the metal that holds the fender is so thin and crappy it is tough to keep it on. (have to get some real thick metal or pipe to weld it up and reinforce it this spring)
But if you look at a myco and compare it to ANYTHING out there, you can just tell right off the bat that it is the best you can get.
Ike's apache sits on a myco with a drive guard.
this thing is made to last 30 + years.
just an incredible unit and if you sell your baja in a few years, Keep the trailer, or sell the boat with the old trailer and keep the myco tucked away some where.
Just a thought

My first choice would be Eagle based on boats I have owned but I would also look at Myco. All the BIG boats use them.
