Default Here are some pictures of the 196 Sunsport!

Here is the boat! Sorry about the car lift getting in the way and if it is fuzzy my camera is sensitive to the light in the shop!

Default Motor shot

Check out the aluminum ram air! It also does a good job hiding the nitrous plate system!

Default Rear deck, subtle hump!

This is with the rear seat in. Ram air not in use!

Default Race Mode!!

Rear seat back comes out and the ram air is exposed! We also made the center of the windshield "quick release" which helps direct air to the ram air!

Default Dirvers dash!!

The red military type switch is the arming switch for the nitrous. Then the micro switch in front of that can be easily pushed by the drivers' pinky. We have a micro switch on the carb to assure WOT, a fuel pressure switch, and a timing retard that works with the full MSD ignition.

Default Last one!

The business end. Notice the brackets on the left hand side. That is for a detachable swim platform. My dad really likes the clean look of a transom with no platform so he made quick release brackets out of stainless. The shotgun mufflers are 50% submerged. No noise tickets on this boat! Hope I didn't bore you to much with this stuff!!

Nice boat.
remember guys, the boat is my dads, he wont let me sell it. It has taken 2 years to convince him to let me do anything to the engine and thats only if I get it professionaly done.

It's kind of difficult to do what you want when you can't make the decisions. If it was me, before I would spend all that time and money to redo the 6-banger I would buy a 350 and slip in there. Or as said before, convince your dad that a 210 would be a really fun ride (it is!) and look around for one with a 350 or a 454. either one would be a fun boat that will outrun most boats on the lake, and if you look around aren't that expensive.
My opinion only!
