The red military type switch is the arming switch for the nitrous. Then the micro switch in front of that can be easily pushed by the drivers' pinky. We have a micro switch on the carb to assure WOT, a fuel pressure switch, and a timing retard that works with the full MSD ignition.

The business end. Notice the brackets on the left hand side. That is for a detachable swim platform. My dad really likes the clean look of a transom with no platform so he made quick release brackets out of stainless. The shotgun mufflers are 50% submerged. No noise tickets on this boat! Hope I didn't bore you to much with this stuff!!

Nice boat.
remember guys, the boat is my dads, he wont let me sell it. It has taken 2 years to convince him to let me do anything to the engine and thats only if I get it professionaly done.

It's kind of difficult to do what you want when you can't make the decisions. If it was me, before I would spend all that time and money to redo the 6-banger I would buy a 350 and slip in there. Or as said before, convince your dad that a 210 would be a really fun ride (it is!) and look around for one with a 350 or a 454. either one would be a fun boat that will outrun most boats on the lake, and if you look around aren't that expensive.
My opinion only!

That's a nice clean little boat. I can't beleive that thing does 86!!! Hyper, you are getting some good advice here. Good luck in your decision, I would do what ever creates the least ammount of headaches from all angles.....$$/dad/dependability/etc. Have fun.
