The helm, no longer stock.

I love the layout. Everything is easy to see, reach and operate.

No, I do not hit my leg on the VHF.

Installed are the following:

Blue cup holder, Icom VHF and intergrated four man intercom system. Ray 320 Chartplotter, GPS speedo with tattle tale, GPS antenna, and water pressure guages with blue Livorsi deck mounts.

When you are standing it is a clear line of site to the GPS. When sitting it is still in full view if the steering wheel is tilted down. Raise the wheel up and it will interfer with the line of site.

On the outside of the helm is the control for the intercom system.
This location works very well because it is in easy reach of the passengers also. I plug my headset into the panel located on the right side just above the blue cup holder. The button on the left of where I plug in allows me to talk out on the VHF while wearing the headsets.

If you want a setup like this call Steve at Performance Radios in California. He went out of his way to give me a complete flush mount kit with headsets for four people. I sent my VHF radio to him and he made it all work together for about $1000.00.

Then I paid the "GREAT" Barry Woosley about two hundred more for an awesome installation. It is completely noise free.

Thanks Steve & Barry

Passenger side. Mount for wife's Garmin 176C GPS.

I got to tell you, the Blue Chart is ten times better than the
C-Map.

Rear plug in's. One on each side.

Note their is not a button for them to push in the back to talk on the VHF. If they need to talk out, all you have to do is push the button up front and they will talk out also.

You can listen to the VHF in the background and all the passengers can just talk right over it. If I'm going to talk out on the VHF, I usually ask everyone to be quiet a minute.

We opted for the Polk Audio upgrade stereo offered by Baja with the MOMO speakers.

It came with four speakers, two subs and four tweeters in the cockpit. There were two speakers, two tweeters and a powered sub in the cuddy. It also had two amps and a six disc changer in the cuddy.

There is a remote at the helm and another one in the cuddy.

Bottom line is for what it cost, it just did not sound that good.

Once again with the help of Barry Woosley that problem was solved. Barry said we had good equipment, we just needed to fine tune it.

He added two 6-1/2 inch MB Quart speakers in the cockpit powered by their own amp. Then he put the subs in the cockpit on their own amp. WOW, it made a 300% difference.

Barry, you know your ****!!!!!!
