Look at all this useless bulls*** being tossed around......and to think it is at my expense...hhhmmmmmmm..........

I am being ripped on by a geek who looks like he has a pack of bratwurst stuffed under his chin, a pre-pubescent cheek rider who shaves every 12 days and a sexual predator who lives in Batavia and had a court order to go door-to-door and tell his neighbors that he likes to pork-hump inanimate objects.....

I swear, it is the Apocolypse....HeHeHe....

Now.........

Tank (who is usually locking horns with me about cleaning dumpsters and the such ) has asked a very pertinent question children....I shall respond.

The &%!*_&!Q)%^!(^ would run fine and start on the (^(!!)%)&+)&+%^^!+!&+ trialer 20 times in a row, then the %*%!$%(*%($ would run fine on the water until I turned the )$&$*^_(*&^%%&( off, then it would not refire. Finally, the ignition box would )(*&^*(%&(^$( cool down and it would re fire. Finally, it ^$^#%*^(^& just flat gave out at WOT and would not do anything, so Merlin had to tow my ^()&%(&^$&*$%(& back to the dock, which was worth the trip anyhow

Anytime you are not getting any spark to all cylinders, you obivously have an ignition issue. As a process of elimination, then a confirmation with Merlin's diagnostic tool, we figured it was the box. I swapped boxes (MSD are known to crap out) and put a new coil in. Runs great, problem solved.

Itlltie called me today and said he spent his extra $ on his annual fees for the nudist camp so he won't be able to attend the race this weekend.

Bummer......or should I say, Bunner.........

Allan,

Thats what I was wondering. If theres any tell tail signs that it was going out, such as the cooling down thing. How much is a new msd box? Should I just replace mine every year or what??

Thisistank,

Just carry a 32 Skater along with you in case the Baja breaks down.

Hey, or a 22 Donzi with a cross dresser behind the wheel

Tank, I would not worry about changing it out every year, some people have them for several seasons without any issue. What would be a good idea is to have an extra one with you for weekend trips so you do not worry a good weekend over a sh**ty ign box, not that MSD is sh**ty, just a phrase I will carry an extra one with me for now on. As far as tell tale signs, if you have plenty of power to crank, but get no spark, then you most likely have an ign box or coil issue.

They run aroudn $200, give or take $10-$20 depending onwhat sort of deal you can swing.

B-dog.....Hahaha.......we'll catch ya on the flip side, gebronie....
