I run the MSD 6M version with limiters. I thought they would last longer than 2 years. My port side did the same thing at the beginning of the year. Swapped boxes found the root problem...the box. Bought another for $250 and the other is at MSD for being rebuilt for $85 max.

Note to all save your money and by a 6AL, wire it yourself.

Mine is a 6AL actually. Hey, oh well....easy fix. Race cars have two ignition boxes in htem with a switch. It is not uncommon to have the box go out.....then (obviously) you switch over to the good box.

Stuff breaks, just the way it is.

I am going to send it back to MSD for the rebuild and then keep it around as a spare. That way I won't ruin a good weekend if it takes a dump on me again.
