Everyone that I have talked to about the 525 in general has said that it performance is closer to a 575 than a 500 efi....Put two 525's in anything and you are hauling some serious butt:cool:

500 efi =470 prop shaft horse power
525 efi = 500 prop shaft horse power

in my exp. ther are 4-5 mph between 454 mag tro 502 mag to 500 efi


for example 2002 33 outlaw 496 ho's 75 mph
2001 33 outlaw 500 efi's 80.5 ( -2" "X" )


29 outlaw 502 mags 76 mph
29 outlaw 500 efi's ( pre 02 X dimension 79.5 same props ( 27's )

Sorry I haven't read through all the posts yet, but I visited Hawkeye (where that 30 w/525's is) last weekend. The boat is sold but still in the showroom. Absolutely killer!

They re-proppred it and ran 90 GPS. They were running against the red line on revs and actually backing off the throttles on that picture with stock props.

I called H and H Marine in OKC OK yesterday and they have a 30 Outlaw with mag motors for $115,000.00. I forgot to ask what all was in the cuddy but at that price probably not much. The boat is RED BLUE and SILVER with SST graphics. I am going to try and get some pics today. I also called Big Thunder Marine at LOTO and they have a 30 with HOs for $167,000 and once again I forgot to ask what all was in the cuddy. At that price it better be loaded. I am sure that was MSRP though. I would love to have one of these boats but I think I will wait until the new wears off and Baja comes out with some incentives. They usually do the incentive thing again around the middle of the summer. We'll see!!

When you call and get these prices you need to ask if the price includes a trailer. That's about a $7,000 swing right there.

Yes those prices are with trailer. The one in OKC is a Dorsey triple axle painted to match.

Then I would say that $115,000 is pretty good if you can handle mags.

115k with a trailer and mag motors is a good deal[from what I have checked out so far] i'm still holding up before I do anything

saw that boat today while boat show was being set up. sharp boat 496mags, sst , standard bolsters , basic cabin. Bought 2 boats from H&H marine have a lot of experience with those guys.

They order all their boats with only 496mags weather its the 25ol,275,29ol even the 33ol has them. I guess they are easier to sell? but all the 25ol and 275 are left over 2003 models.
