I have a 2001 with 496HO's and only 110 hours. You can have it for $74,000. Runs 79 on GPS. Boat looks like it's never been used.

That is way nice 29 Outlaw and just what I would like to have but I just can't afford that right now (at least not without selling some other toys).

I really want to move up from the H2X I have but I do not want to get into something I am not happy with like an underpowered boat.

I am seriuosly considering moving up to a 25 OL for now and then trade up again in a couple of years to a 29 OL with good power.

Sounds cool. Remember, the selling price of my boat drops $500 each month so this time next year it can be had for $68,000. I think with HO's this boat runs plenty fast. Despite what people say, there aren't too many 80mph boats out there. I know that for a fact cause I don't see too many people passing me.

My boat runs 70 and that is plenty fast. I am not really looking for 80. 50's would be a bit dissapointing.

They changed outdrive height in 2002. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I saw no point in raising the X on 29 Outlaws. Boats with the raised X are forced to run 4 blade props. I run 27" 3 blades. Whatever they gained in speed by raising the X was instantly lost by being forced to run 4 blade props vs. 3 blade. It made no sense to me.
