Bought another banana boat
#12
Congrats Chris!
Have some personal memories of that boat....lol Was out with my friend Paul and his older brother Jeff on Narragansett bay years ago....I must have been 15. long story short we were jumping tug boat wakes and almost stood the thing straight up - huge air! nearly blew over from my recollection... Great boat - you will have fun. Best of luck to you. Pictures please!

Hope your doing good.
I'll work on the pictures. I like the teak strip down the center of the deck. It's the first banana I have seen with it. It still has the old school lifeline too.
I really want to get my I/O banana up and running so I may just sell "Blue Max" to get the funds I need to finish the restoration.

Well he has gone without a boat for too long.
I have decided to give him the twin outboard banana I just picked up.
Back about 10 years ago when I had my 1st banana boat, my brother decided he wanted one too. So we drove an hour down to MA together so he could buy hull #45 in 2002 I think it was.
With cash in hand, he said no at the last minute. He felt uneasy about the twin bridgeports.
The only thing I can think of more fun than my brother and I smashing waves in an old race boat, is to smash waves with two old race boats.
Not sure how long it will take, but we are making plans to restore them side by side.

Tell "heatbuzz" i'm happy to hear that he gave up his ballet lessons and finally came back to a rough sport. LOL
