Very Cool Rick! We'll have to hook up sometime when you finish.
Hey Chris - you've got another thing in common with my dad besides boats - he is also a black belt in Karate. He used to have a studio in our basement. I never trained formally - only with him...which was great 'til I started getting bigger and then broke his ribs with a kick one day (OOOPPPS!!!) I think I have an old article of his in "Black Belt" magazine I'll have to dig out....

I hope to get going on the project first of the new year, and have it on the water for the 4'th of July.

Excellent boat Rick - looks like you have your work cutout for ya but will be a great boat when you are done. Will look for you guys next summer.... Have you been down to see Jo and Pepe at the Pantera factory? I'm trying to get down there one of these days...
PS - I think I have some old Pantera brochures if you are interested - I'll make you a copy and mail - PM me a mailing address.

Pantera Rick,
I agree with Charlie, I spent a day in Miami about 4 years ago at the Pantera factory. Pepe and Jo Nunez went out of their way to show me their operation. Really nice people.
As far as boat stands, If it is just for a short period of time, a boat yard with great customer service will let you borrow a set for a nominal fee or you might talk them into selling you a pair for a reasonable amount of DP's...
If all that fails, get some strong lumber and build your own.
