Smile Banana Boating off Boca Raton

Well I finally drove down to Boca to meet Charlie McCarthy Jr and it was worth the trip.

Hard to find a nicer guy. I had a great time and look forward to the next.

I always wanted to rip up and down the ICW in my Banana Boat and now I did it, without even having to use my trailer. It was amazing now much alike our boats are.

Charlie Jr is a boat racing encyclopedia and had all kinds of photos and video. Great stuff...

Thank you very much Charlie. I have been living in a Hotel for almost three months while going through training. If anybody has done this, then you know how depressing it can be to be away from home for that long. Taking me out for a rip in the ocean was like therapy, I was completely rejuvenated and ready for my flight test.

I passed my FAA checkride this morning and I am now a Boeing 727 Captain!

Day done, time to go home....

Wow - thanks for all of the kind words! I really enjoyed boating with a fellow banana boat owner...you are welcome again anytime.

And let me also say "thank you" to everyone else as well for all of their kind words about my dad and his banana boats - it really means a lot to him and to our family that these boats have brought so much joy to so many people.

Congrats Chris on your pilot's license and the return back to your normal everyday life in NH. Good luck with the 727's!! (ps - I e-mailed you those digital pics so look for 'em when you get back)

Here's a couple of pics from the day...
First is Chris (airdog) enjoying that swim platform at "Two Georges" for lunch and next is me getting out of boat when we got back home.

Boy you guys are brutal...guess I'll have to start getting some embarassing pictures out of my brother - otherwise known as the "tim" of "Chatim".

Here's one of him and our dad in the old 24' race boat...

PS - so who kicked who's a**??

That is okay, I am not upset. It was only a matter of time....

My friends enjoy pulling photos from my modeling days and finding creative ways to embarrass me.

Funny thing though, my brother removed his thread with the pictures from the fitness magazine. I did not ask him too. I think he just lives in fear of his younger brother.

You see my older brother is a black belt in Korean gymnastics, I mean Tae Kwon Doe and I am a black belt in Karate.

It's only natural for him to be concerned when I threaten him...

Angry Re: Banana Boating off Boca Raton

Well when comes down to it, I train in Taekwondo and Hapkido, witch means I can take his head off with a spinning hook kick and then thrust my hand through his chest and rip his heart out while its still beating.(Thats me in the Red, and though thats not Chris in the Blue thats what would happen).
