While we actually have Sy replying to this thread for the first time on over a year, why not go ahead and explain the reason for making us wait?

Sy, I would think that the owner whom the boat was stolen from would be entitled to an opportunity to get the boat back first? Would you not agree? I know for a fact that the owner has been on top of this investigation and also the whereabouts of this boat and he has every intention of getting it back.

It is no longer a boat at this point.
It is what you call EVIDENCE. You just don't take evidence, especially with an active case going on.
It certainly is not up to Sy to give the guy his boat back.
