Isn't it illegal for manufacturers to MAKE you sell for their price? Thats called price fixing I believe.
They CAN make the choice to not sell to you of course. |

We are not big posters on this board. So I hope when I tell you guys about our dealings with Fred was nothing but bad. As some know we did a refit to our 42 Fountain last winter. We had a relatively small to medium order.
1. we ordered a new relatively dash for monster gauges(came with the small gauge holes 2. We found out where the panel Fred ordered was from, So we went to the supplier and purchased the panel direct. Great people 3. Ordered new controls from Fred wrong set up. 4. Had cup holders, fire extinguisher, billet step pads, steering wheel, battery boxes, bow rail bezels, pop up bow led light(we did get the cheap bow light not the correct one) as for the other stuff we never received. As for the Steering wheel we did get. We had to tell Fred send me the wheel, when I receive it I will send you a check. That also went for the controls( by the way like I posted earlier they had arrived wrong) Sucks to be me. Spend a grand on something why would you think it would be correct? We had many calls with Fred and James. They always told us Fred not there or they could not get us a fed ex number till after 4 pm. Everything was always "on it's way" We did end up getting our money and buying elsewhere. We got the story about the boy Passing away and then moved the business, we ordered in November finally received our controls and steering wheel in May. Although he didn't think it was that important because we don't boat in May or do We? The first time we knew things were going to be ruff is the bow light issue. We needed the light to ruff in the hole for painting. Agian we received the wrong light over night, If he would have been thinking he could have saved thousands in return shipping:mad: also in over night shipping. We have stayed calm about this we never did end up getting most of our product. We never posted about it on here because we never wanted to get lambastered. Sorry but like what was posted earlier not a big poster so I know what the posts would have been if I would have said something. We feel bad about what is going on here, but the things have got to be told. Jeff and Jessica Indecent Exposure |

Why does Bose care what price you charge? They still get the same dollars from you. |
This whole thing with Fred really saddens me. Every time I spoke with him he was very helpful and knowledgable. Had screw-ups a couple of times but they were corrected.
I sincerely hope that those that are owed parts/money will get what they should, and after that, I hope that things work out for Fred. |

Go to bed. Isn't it like 9pm in Tulsa? :evilb: |
Many good points here, Mike @ Rex, Kirk, Steve (Indy), Rob&Barb and you other guys.
With a risk for getting the foot in the rear end... Trick has been a very big advertiser here at OSO during some years now. When numbers of bordmembers started to complain about Trick service and in several threads tryed to get Fred to react but did get no respond. How did OSO-manangers react? Did they contact Trick/Fred and tell him to take care of the probs and get his things together? Just curious. Mange |

Who swept all those threads regarding issues with Trick Marine under the carpet? Or are the threads still there???

Threads got poofed and deleted because Fred cried long and hard to anyone who would lend him an ear about "vendor problems", "just getting started", "bad employees", "he's been sick", etc, etc, add nauseum.

Under the carpet was more of a figure of speach. If my memory is correct some of the threads will still be up, but some were deleted if the poster wasn't considered "credible" (IE: alot of posts). It was more a case of the general population claiming Fred was a good guy and could do nothing wrong. I decided to keep my mouth shut instead of justifying my position everytime the subject came up. (I know a number of other members were feeling the same way as I would get a number of PM's agreeing with me whenever I posted my opinions on the matter)

I have no idea what is going on with Fred. He always treated me great. I understand those involved posting but, just pilling on makes you look like an ass... |
