In my sons (Heath)defence.
Heath moved to SC looking to be a long term employee of Trick Marine He moved specifically to go to work for Fred Heath bought his first home there, and committed to move into a small, no mans town, where he knew no one. He was determined to make it work After weekly calls from him, for over a year, describing to me the MANY issues going on, he finally decided to move back to Michigan Heath still has a house in SC that has been empty for almost 2years that he has been making payments on. That alone should tell you how bad it was Fred was good to Heath personally, but all that surrounded Heath was not good. He moved out for his safety and his reputation The death of Freds Step Son was sad, but he had been putting Fred, Cynthia, Heath, and everyone else at risk for a long time and his untimely death was just a matter of time do to his destructive behavior |

Thanks for letting everyone know the truth Heath. On the other hand, why would you wait until so many people were out money to speak up? With everything that was said after the Big Scotty deal, I would have thought you of all people would have outed Fred as a thief and liar long ago. You state that you said nothing out of "respect for Fred?" How could you respect someone you knew was stealing from both customers and suppliers? |
Boatme.....no "defence" is needed for your son......he did the right thing:cool:

I believe Heath did what he had to do. Don't try to find blame in anyone but Trick.

Just a side note
Having been to Freds operation a number of times I think his biggest downfall was no orginazation All orders were logged on paper not on computer and stacked all over the place. There was no inventory control or customer (contact) managment that was done electronically This is why they never were consistent with there shipping or why they always made excuses and were telling many people "It has been shipped" or "will get it right out" then didnt I know how hard it is to track things just with my business, (Un related to boat parts) and i dont have the sheer volume that Trick was processing Any one can make mistakes but his pattern was due to no system in place to process and fill orders I never could figure out why things werent computerized at his shop I do know that Heath brought his own laptop to work everyday to track those that he had contact with. |
