If Fred would have come on here and told everyone- without blaming or excuses- that he was in trouble, had made mistakes, wasn't in any position to do anything about it but would certainly make sure everyone would eventually be made whole, this would be a 25-page-thread about what a good guy he is.

Heath's post really brings some things to light. I can imagine what he had to go through making the decision as a young man that "this was a bad idea". I'm sure he learned alot from it, and I'm glad he realized it was a bad decision before it affected him personally.

Yes, I was really hoping Fred would pull out of this mess he got himself into, but without responding, I guess he already knew the final nails where on their way into the coffin.

LDD - I'm glad you agreed to take the post down. I saw it earlier, but I wasn't ready, or didn't know what to respond. There are several here that have known him on here for years. It may be funny down the road, but the body isn't even cold yet.

I still don't believe he started out with this intention, but he got himself into something he knew nothing about, and started sinking quickly, unfortunately, instead of bailing out when he could make things right, he kept trying to go on.

Let's face it, in simple terms, he phucked up, and alot of people are paying for it.

People don't like to admit failure. And he may have had all good intensions to try to get himself outta the trouble he was in. Did you ever think that he may have a laywer already and that his lawyer said he CANNOT say anything? Come one now, we are not a group of friends in which one can just saying sorry and it's gonna work out. The thread was to find out what happened, and by this post we pretty much know what happened. The business is going bust and looks like he has major family issues. Shoulda Woulda Coulda?!?! It's absolutely no surprise to me that this thread is here. People should have seen the potential for this to happen when prior posts were made in subpar dealing that they had had with Trick. the writing was on the wall, but some refusing to read it. Again it's our ignorance as a whole to not accept that there may have been a problem, when months ago there was a post about delivery issues and not receiving merchandise only partial orders.

I know Don at Triad personally, (I own a small marine repair and upholstery shop in Phx.) and I know he will take the high road. Let me just say, that Don has had a constant battle with suppliers to keep his product lines, and to actually sell them when he has to abide by MAP pricing and Fred has never had too.

Not to mention the fact that Fred always has his band of a$$ sucks on this site chearleading for him.

Ever notice that anytime someone posts something in the advertising section, Fred had to top them? Ateco? Triad? How many CMI threads did Fred and Ateco go back and forth on?

Freds complaining lost Triad the Livorsi line a couple of years back, how do I know? Don offered to sell me his internet business back then when he was moving out of state to be closer to his family, and I knew what was going on. Livorsi had strict policies about selling their product below suggested retail or selling competitors products and somehow Don was always getting the nasty letters from Fred and Livorsi about it. It's funny how Fred could always have the best price and nobody else could ever compete with him. Or that he could sell EMI products with his logo on it and Don would get in trouble for selling Gaffrig.

From what I know (and I buy stuff from all the same suppliers Fred did) he was king of drop shipping product. He would beat a supplier down in price, and then make them do all the work.

It's not a surprise that Mike (Rexmar) doesn't advertise on this site. With Fred and his band of a$$sucking chearleaders it's really not worth spending the money here.


Oh and BTW Fred (I know you're reading this). You remember that pair of hydraulic rams you sent me last year? You know, the ones that weren't machined properly, I'm still waiting for the replacement set you promised to overnight so I can send the bad ones back...............Ah nevermind, I went and had new ends machined for them so they would work, but thanks for following through. My poor customer would have been without a boat for a year. You my friend are an a$$hat.............:mad:
