Yup. Found that out the hard way. In reality, like I said, boot back up in safe mode with networking and its a pretty simple process. It's very handy to have a friend who has a bachelors in computer science, with specialization in forensics and recovery!

the internet security 2009 was an easy cleanup for malware bytes, but the 2010 one is ugly..google internet security 2010 and it wil take you to bleepingcomp.com and you can get the free download from malware.... use it weekly and you should be fine, spybot will get the tracking cookies, malware for trojans.
