Bought it on what was told? He picked the trailer up & looked it over before he paid for it. You yourself said after he bought it you noticed the wheels were not the same....

AFTER he bought it he decided, with your help, he should have gotten the wheels he saw in a picture.... he had the choice at the point of purchase to say "NO" not with out the aluminum wheels.... he took it the way it was & now comes on here trying to say he was taken advantage of.... In what way?

Am I a friend of Bill's? I hope he considers me a friend , I certainly do consider him a friend... I've bought trailers from him for over 20 yrs.... raced boats against him 20 yrs before that... He is as stand up a man as you will ever meet... but he obviously won't be, and I wouldn't be either, intimidated by a customer who bought a leftover for half price & then writes BS about me on the internet... How long did you wait for a return call before you started this thread? Oh thats right 2 days... you state that in your opening comments.....

I'm guessing you plan on keeping that trailer longer then 2 days? Maybe you should have shown a little more patience instead of trying to tarnish the reputation of a guy who has spent over 30 years satisfying customers....

If this was a deal with some guy off the street, I would agree with you but, this is supposedly a reputable business. The owner should have returned his call and when he did return the customer's call, he should have given him the option of returning the trailer and getting his money back or swapping the wheels out.

What are you talking about? Are you forgetting that this was a leftover custom built trailer that was built for someone elses boat.... and when it did not fit, for whatever reason, Performance made the guy a new one, delivered it and took this one back at no cost to that customer! Not a reputable business.... that's rediculous! I'm done with this argument... I won't argue with stupidity!

their is alot more to this deal than you know . this trailer was paid for cash w no slip . and paid for long before it was del . it was simply dropped of at a dealership and picked up by new owner . it was simply a drop off point no one to talk to . get your facts straight before you speak . bill was called several times never called back. this thread was started 3 weeks later . but i really dont think i should have to explain myself to you . the whole thing is stupid . dont tell some one it has alum wheels and change them out plain and simple . im glad he made the other guy a new trailer he screwed up he had to . hell he can still have the trailer back if he wants . by the way why do you argue when you dont even know what the deal was . you have obviously been put up to this by someone . get your facts straight before you speak you sound stupid

You can call me all the names you want.... I'm not the one that bought the trailer after seeing it with chrome wheels when I expected Aluminum wheels....

Look.... I really hope this guy ends up very happy with his trailer after he's had a chance to use it.... I have been with every performance trailer I ever owned.... You don't think I have my facts straight & I don't believe either you or your friend handled this situation the best possible way....

enough said....
