Somebody over there just isn't too smart about it I guess. If things don't work.....shut it down! I did that with www.offshorebid.com, except it wasn't owned by a con man. Now that domain is owned by another company and is for sale.

You basically own the rights to use a name, like Offshoreonly.com. And all that does is point people to a website you have hosted somewhere. If you do not renew the domain name, someone else can purchase those rights, build up a new site, and then sell the domain rights to someone else. Or you can simply buy the rights and then try to sell them to the legitimate owner of a site. That was one of the original scandals here, someone bought offshoreonly.net and org I think and then tried to sell them to Steve S. And then it got really good after that
