Being a relative outsider, one has to read all they can on an issue and try to figure out the truth. I find myself reading the thread each day wondering what turn will come next. It was nice to see the "Changes" thread at SOS, but after all that has been said and the time delay, I admit I was doubting the validity. Seeing the thread poofed by an "accidental" delete by an Admin with way too much experience is just too fishy.

One of the reasons I stopped visiting OSO for awhile was that any mention of SOS got your thread poofed or worse. It was nothing more than Communist redaction/restriction of speech. SOS allowed us to criticize anyone and anything as long as it was healthy and informative. They did clamp down when necessary.

The dialogue about CS and SOS has not been fun. It hurts when you make a mental commitment to something and then see the foundation blasted apart. I felt it when the group broke off from OSO, now again as the group breaks off from SOS. The whole purpose of SOS was to real, honest and serious about our boating hobby/profession. Not let deception and commercialism rule. Unfortunately, what we have all witnessed is the exposure of deception that exploded right from the core of the foundation.

But to have a thread started on SOS about "changes", then have it poofed "accidentally" once a dissenting view is posted sounds too much like the old OSO. And if that is how it will be at SOS, might as well hang on OSO and enjoy that nonsense with a larger crowd of boaters.

I've never met CS personally and I've never had anything but good interactions with him online. Maybe that is due to my position ouside the inner circle. Or maybe due to my Patron level of commitment.

There are two main reasons I want CS to come forward with evidence of his boat ownership:
1. He claimed ownership of so many boats as a means of credibility.
2. I very well could have been someone who questioned something he said in a post and then been the target of a direct, viscious and derogatory post berating me because he has owned so many more performance boats than me.

This may all sound petty and redundant. But considering the breadth of allegations, I really would like CS to refute these boat ownership concerns. It will go a long way to refuting what people have been saying about him and allow the rest of us to start balancing our opinions.

So I ask you Chris, as a Patron level contributor to SOS who has no beef in this game, and who has never had anything but good dealings with you in the past, please come forward with some proof and discredit these guys.
There is a "What do the members think?" thread over on The Dock on SOS. Place this exact post there or in a new thread on SOS. There is a reason you asked the question here and not there.

Yea but does that post and thread count total include the now deleted "Changes at SOS" thread? I hate to short change the activity there by not counting deleted threads.

A: To be a Professional Bowling Association member you must have an average of 200 or better with 36 games. From www.pba.com

I would suggest that you get the kid signed up for the PBA Tour.....If he can average 240......You'll be rich!!!!!!!! Some dude just won $40,000 last week by winning the tournament with a 218 avg!!!

Think of the boat that you could buy!

Crap, I'd have to play 9-pin for that average

Still in practice as a beginner. Some nights I'm between 175 and 205, some nights not. My high 3-game series now is 578, on slightly dry lanes. I'll have to play more than 5 games a week to get a better boat.

Staying on topic, does CS have close personal PBA friends that could give an assist? I was looking for an Apache ball, no luck yet
