Doesn't have a pot to piss in and this is his hail mary?? The internet is a BIG PLACE.. Hail Mary?? At worst the game is over, at best he is down 127 to nothing, ball on his own 1 yard line with 01 seconds left in the game, too choices, try to win the game or leave the field and find an easier game, which would be easier?

Using 'Logic" as illogical as many of you think my thinking is:

1. Most conmen, burglars, thieves etc are lazy. Its much EASIER for them to take what they want as opposed to earning it.

2. Most people like to be 'cool' or at least liked by the masses

Having been 'exposed' and 'blacklisted' even if he is still somehow Stecz's puppet master, he is in a target poor environment now. With very few left on SOS and even fewer willing to buy anything he could attempt to sell, wether its influence, advertising etc., he would have to work extremely hard for any reward of his efforts while at the same time under the microscope of many that make James Bond look like Nancy Drew. It has to be painfully obvious to him that he can't change brands of toilet paper without you guys finding out about it.

Given such adversity to sheering sheep, it would be MUCH easier and MUCH more profitable for him to find a new flock to fleece.

Whether its becoming the resident lawn tractor expert at Briggs&Stratten.com or the Cessna Czar at plane&pilot.com A hunter will go where there is abundant prey.

Sure there is the possibilty he could still weasel a little out of a power boater or two, but the ROI vs. effort just isn't there.

Of the few left on SOS including the flag waivers, who HASN'T said they wouldn't give him a dime much less vouch for him? To munipulate people you need there trust and niavety in which the boating community he has niether.

If you were stealing car stereos in a particularly small neighborhood and got caught, then your name, discription, mug shot and method were distributed door to door in that little neighborhoodevery day for a couple months.... And the townsfolk had a neighborhood watch setup to look for you specifically 24/7 Would you still try and steal stereos there or would you find a new nieghborhood ??????? My guess is that you would be 3 counties over as fast as your little feet could carry you.

I would agree if Google didnt exist.

His choice was to put his loyal friend at risk.

Its a Hail Mary pass to the currently uninjured.

He has no feelings for anyone but himself.

Time will tell.

Your posts are a far cry different today than they were in April as are many others.

It is what it is.

Ok Rob, so do you think that all of what you posted being the case, Chris would not take a guaranteed SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS to walk away and turn the site ownership over to a consortium of the four main site supporters / operators / bill payers BUT he would instead take ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, walk away and just hand the site over to ONE founder who logged less hours on the site in a year than you did every day?

Thats just it, google can provide his next victims and specialty dejour with the click of a mouse. An endless listing of special intrests to exploit, Hence my earlier reply" where is he going next" 5 minutes on google will find an entirely different base of victims, a few hours on google to learn the catch phrases and basics and whaalaaah... he could be the new king of kit cars with a shelby cobra knock off and a fiero ferrari in the garage extolling the virtues of carbon fiber body panels vs. fiberglass as he bums a ride on the next rod run.

Thats an easy one. at the time he probably thought he had a return much greater than that waiting. he got greedy, he held on to his stock when his broker told him to sell...the stock tanked. He phucked himself on that one. You really think that right now he isn't wishing he had taken the money and ran?? Now his stock is worthless, he has no more investors to bilk. Once a ponzi collapses its done, your not going to make money off of it, you have to go start a new one. At the time the money was offered, he more than likely thought it as a speed bump and didn't slow down, he soon found that speed bump was a brick wall smashing head on. He then gave Stecz the last semi dented hubcap.

You guys seem to think that hubcap was to distract people while he tried to rebuild the car. Hell he stole the care to begin with, why rebuild it when there is an entire parking lot of cars with the keys in them, engines running on the other side of the street???
