At the end of the day, if you didn't get your loan paid back, but you received other consideration, a judge will probably only award net damages. And it'll get even more complicated once defendant counterclaims for failure to perform on other agreements between the parties.
Just how much is a judgment against an LLC worth these days...

Does this mean we shouldn't buy this product? It seems like a businessman to businessman venture that went bad, not a consumer issue.

It's still the same product that's taken me close to a decade to develop. I just ask that you purchase from a dealer and not JJ, but it looks like he's out of inventory anyway.

Hate to see all this happening hope all gets worked out and everyone wins. I don't know Jeff personaly but have never heard anything bad either sounds like a straight up guy. I have met and hung out with Donnie and know he will go out of his way for you. Just my .02
