You must be in the Woodbridge/Edison area? My buddy used to work for Pat Mussi. He was from Avenel and living in TR now.

I take it your from Jersey. Pat has done a few engines for people I know. Never heard of complaints but doesn't do much marine work. He is no longer at the shop on the corner. Still in Carteret though. good luck with everything.

Check with "Cubic Inches" on here, top notch builder and a guy that does not sugar coat anything. You may not like what he tells ya at first but it will be done right, and make the power he says it will, and it will last!!! A good amount of guys on here use him and I'm pretty sure it will be tough to find any negative.

The machine shop is his uncles. Once I threatened to sue the machine shop owner because thats where I dropped my motors off he agreed to settle out of court.

kilrbusa 10-01-2011 03:05 AM

oh the days of the "muscle car shootout"...along comes reiger w a nos car and a supercharged car --both bickel chassis's...he fly's in to both cars w full crew's maintaining/prepping them and decides he will run the faster car of the event that weekend!!!! thats when it began going downhill in terms of the "street" cars and affordability. the rules were in place ...you cant blame a man for exercising his financial abilities. But it was the demise of the NMCA.

Memphis motorsports park is closed? oh man we had good times there all through the 90's

Michael1 10-02-2011 08:56 PM

I don't know why anyone would give someone cash in advance for a $150 cam. Pay by credit card! Merchant agreements state that the retailer cannot charge someone until the part has shipped to the end user. If the retailer puts the charge through before it ships to you, you can just request a charge back. If the vendor doesn't take credit cards, move on. They obviously don't have any kind of a decent retailing business.
