Nicole was kind enough to respond with this:

Hi Carl,

No updates on boat. The police didn't make any attempts to do anything to recover the boat. I drove down to Miami a couple times passing out flyers and asking questions. Called almost every port in Florida and different customs contacts in the Bahamas. But we had no leads and never heard anything. Very depressing to us. Thanks for asking though!

Regards,

Nicole

Not surprising the police did nothing. My boat was stolen years ago in Chesterfield Twp. MI and the Police told me they had no resources to look for my boat. They treated the theft as a property theft and said good luck.

Don't let this thread die. Someone will slip up and run their mouth and word will get around.

Keep a third eye out on this,,,somebody knows something.

I'm very sorry to hear about your boat, and I hope they find those bastards!

It's Pompano Beach. I gave them fingerprints and they couldn't find the thief! They suck.

Cops su$k everywhere, they only go after easy marks. Its too hard for there feeble minds, Unfortunately CSI don't care about these kind of things. Most are cops because they can't do anything else! I hope the thieves get caught, only good thief is a dead thief!......................................Rjr... .........................

Sorry Robert but I disagree with that. I have a couple of great friends in the trade. Their love of the sport and their retirement benifits keep them happy. Many of us have NO IDEA of just how many crimes occur. They truly do pursue the easy collars with more of a passion than others that are vague.

On this I completely agree. My shop has been hit 3 times since Mar 2010 and if given the chance I'd introduce them to the other side of the daisy's with a little help from S&W.

See ya,
Kelly
