And just because it has been written in a magazine doesnt mean its 100% accurate.

Gotta ask a question here though.
You might have not liked his delivery BUT what is there in this article that differs from what Mr. Slonaker has been saying ?

There is still the western participants that continue to be hinted about ( despite the fact you have to be a gerbal to not know who they are referring to ).

Where was Paul inaccurate ??
To be honest catastrophe, I think every single one of them should have their hands cut off! Doesn't matter to me where their from be it the East, the West, Texas or any other place. They are all thieves.

In terms of not liking his delivery, that isn't it at all. Beleive me, I can be a bull in a china shop when I verbalize too, and there are those who get offended. Its what he says that bothers me. Besides, he really does seem to be delusional. None of the rest of them went so far as to hang themselves out to be interviewed by a publication. Not only that, but then in the interview he exposes himself as a person whose thinking is completely skewed. As for how accurate the story is, even if half of the contents was BS, the other half still exposes this guy as a complete moron.

As far as the difference of what Mr. Slonaker says, I think the biggest one is that Mr. Slonaker isn't sitting in the sh!thouse convicted of the crime.

I wouldn't buy a drain plug from this guy

Don't disagree with anything you said there.

Through this whole fiasco the part that astounds me is more the reaction of the members here than anything else.
There is almost a silent acceptence.
" Colorfull " " the boyz" " characters "
" that dude can pay that fine with his eyes shut "

Chit like that...ya know what I mean ?

Forget Jeff. Its ackowledged he is paying his dues.
His life is phucked.

The rest ?? Party on !!

And I dont know about the buds you hang around with but I can tell you that if one of my friends was into something like all this for the length of time its been going on I would know about it.
So no one is going to convince me that that crowd up there didnt know a lot of what was going on.
You dont sit in a race boat with a guy and not know who he is or what he is in to.
And that includes a few engine builders and boat builders that this membership does business with.

Some think its a way of life or standard practice or cool or cute.
What it is , is phucking bullshi t and the quiet acceptance and the wink wink nod nod is just as bad.

Jeff is a boat thief...I got it.........but just because he isnt a well known throttle guy that ran around an island faster than the next guy....doesnt make him the ONLY boat thief.

Well Said Alec

It appears that there is MORE than one boat THIEF involved in this whole deal . And anyone that can't see that should be standing beside a guy wearing a Tshirt saying

I read the article in Performance Boats and found it very strange that more was not said about how Jeff made his "profit" from the thefts.

Thats my 2 cents, now on with the show.....

The pending trials involve more than Cardshark.
This whole topic is too concentrated on just one boat.

With all due respect to the journalist that put some effort into the article.
But there is no new news there.

And just because the story is in magazine format , the staples holding it together doesnt make it any more accurate or " gospel" than what has been told on here.

If Paul Slonaker wrote those exact words on here you all would have been all over him.
The story and Pauls version are identical.

What everyone on here should do is go find the original thread re Cardshark.
Go read the first 10 pages. Go read what everyones reaction was. Go read what every single person said about what should happen to those that did it.

That was for 1 boat theft. It turns out that Cardshark was 1 of dozens.

What happened to the enthusiasm ???

That's the part that I'm amazed at! How many boats does it truely include. And this BS does affect us all, all the Floridian powerboat owners can attest to that, because of the OUTRAGEOUS Boat insurance rates we have to pay down here!!!!! It's because of theft and 'canes, but mainly theft!

Ya think ????!!

Still missing the one that organized the Cardshark theft.

But just so there doesnt have to be a 5th thread about Cardshark because this one gets closed , I'll refrain from mentioning his name again.

That would be LOW of me.

Yeah, I get why you won't mention names, but I will tell you this much; I think they should all be outed for every boat they stole and they should all be publically named just as Murray has been. Just because they have money shouldn't mean anything. Just goes to show, sh!tbags have money too!

Its like I tell my wife every night before we turn off the lights. the world would be a much nicer place if I was the KING!!!!

LONG LIVE THE KING!! :-)
