dean your so right this place is not the same i found this site through jeffery when we rigged his 36 glad at martin offshore in early 2000,steve wes great too realy made it a cool place to visit , now with the sensorship and all the ads this place is QUICKLY loosing my interest

Slonaker was a absolute wierdo, good riddance. Talk to the poeple that actually met him and they will tell you he is the wierdest person they ever met. The the guys goes out and befriends bigchubby after he was arrested......for what purpose???? Nobody bothered to ask...... Its obvious he had entirely too much time on his hands and for whatever reason was obsessed with this theft and REALY enjoyed being in the spotlight. His theories on the camera moving, and it no longer being there, just flat out false. Anybody can go up there and see the camera in his boat yard. Had Leon not notified authorities so quickly they never would of found what was left of the boat and the real theives. None of Leon's customers waisted time responding to this guy because all it does is further his platform he was using to gain name recognition for his engine building business..........if you can even call it that. The business address he was using was a residential home and it wasn't even in his name. The website said he had been in business for over 30 years at one point, but he has admited numerous times to of had Leon build him a motor, which he overheated first time out. Doesn't sound like a 30 year builder to me. Sounds like someone who is dilusional and obsessed with powerboating. Now he's been caught making statements about a members daughter that border on something a pedophile would say. The guy just doesn't have any credibitliy.

As an aside, doesn't credibility come from having the things you say end up being correct or true?
