$45 is still cheap, when thousands are at stake. That's like 12 gals of gas, I don't think paying would have anything to do with honesty. Some here that contribute real helpful advice don't have a membership, but I still heed their advice!!

Nope and i prob never will, life lesson i guess, i just hope his boat blows up and he loses everything, i believe karma will come back around, i hope everyone who reads this can learn from my mistake and fully investigate before buying used parts from anywhere especially online

When ebay started years ago there was a lawsuit that changed a lot about how ebay operates . The seller was selling " absolutely nothing" that was the description.... There was a picture of " nothing" on a table. Some idiot bid $10.00 and won. To there surprise the never got anything and we're very upset about it. But what really sucks is that someone will play games and try to scam other people. I found that the " boating people" are the nicest people on the water. I don't think anything need to change with the site rules but we should not trust anyone who won't post pictures. I'm sorry you got screwed it really sucks. I hope it works out for you. Me and my boys aren't far from jersey.

Not sure if this helps our not, but I only like to pay with internet deals using Paypal. Typically Paypal will refund you the money provided you have a tracking number that you sent the stuff back.

I am fixing to do this with some audio equipment if the owner of the shop in Michigan doesn't return my call, or refund me some money.

Just a thought....The small fee they charge is worth the piece of mind IMO....
