Like the titles states how long is enough. Say you bought something from a OSO member, sent the check ($850.00) out on 1-17-2015, it gets cashed on 1-26-2015 and its 2-20-2015 and still no parts. You make contact 1 1/2 weeks ago via Email with a promise the items would be shipped that day but still no tracking # or parts. 2 days ago I try to contact again via phone message, PM from OSO, and Email with no response. I see this member has been on here since messaging him from his profile but still no response. I did make a much larger purchase from him 2 months ago and received those items within 10 days.

If someone is willing to send me monies before I ship them the part or they come to pick it up, I do everything I can to accommodate, that means shipping right away. Almost a month? I'd give him 24 hours after that email was sent, one last chance.
He is ruining it for the rest of us too. I took a big leap of faith last year on drives and such, ended up working out, but it was a toss up at the time. I also received payment for parts sight unseen, and I made sure I was available whenever was convenient for the buyer to get them parts, that means staying in touch. Poor etiquette at the least.

I'd take care of OSO member before I paid my gas bill, my rep is more important to me then anything, especially amongst my peers who are always helping, taking a chance and trusting me, Ive sold on here before,, shipped within a hour of payment, I've bought on here and received the same, I'm not saying someone didn't forget or worked or had life get in the way, but a call upon payment received and every step in between is how i work, the nerves go both ways and I hate the them..

There always can be valid reasons why someone may not be able to ship immediately, stuff happens, but if you can't ship and you've taken the money, you have an obligation to communicate to the buyer why and give a reasonable ETA of when you will. Like I said earlier, times up. Now, I'd wait for your tracking number and parts and make a decision. No tracking number today = no more time...
As I've always said... when someone shows you who they are... believe them...
