Angry Buyer Beware of Misty Harbor boats

We purchased a new Misty Harbor tri-toon boat in 2016 and the pontoons cracked and took on water in summer of 2017. The VP Tom Christy of the manufacturer, Misty Harbor Boats, says that the pontoons cracked from "trailering" the boat (hauling it on the pontoon trailer sold to us with the boat) causes the pontoons to crack and NOT covered by warranty! They said, after two months of arguing, that they will do us a "favor" and have the boat supported more and repaired but then failed to follow through..... plus, a pontoon boat - any boat! - should be able to be trailered to and from a boat launch without the pontoons cracking! This is a very poorly made boat. It's pretty, but it is not safe and not well made and the worst part was dealing with the argumentative and 'blame-game" take-no-responsibilty manufacturer! We have an expensive DEAD HORSE in our driveway. It has been a horrible experience all around and we just want to warn other people looking for a pontoon or tri-toon boat to be aware that a Misty Harbor boat is crap. Seriously disappointed not only in the boat but the manufacturers and their failure to stand by their product.

You're right but I suspect there's a lot of toon fans on OSO who are stuck in the closet....

You won't hear from the OP again. He just came on here to voice his beef and try to slur the folks that made his boat.

Yes, he probably posted this on every boating forum he could find which is ok with me. The internet is a great tool for getting out the word when you are treated poorly (or good) by anyone.
