No different than any scam, you send money, they send nothing - they are ahead. Compound that over the years - et voila, snazzy boat that everyone else paid for.
Obviously, personal integrity and value of your word mean nothing - but then hell, they will still give themselves a pat on the back and scream bloody blue murder if the tables are turned on them. My $0.02

lol...I must have missed this when it came up originally. Very interesting story and simply a reminder of the right and wrong ways to conduct business. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter how much money or how many 'things' you have, what really matters is your personal integrity and whether or not anyone will trust you.
