When I recieved it I found out it was not a stock 30 but actually a reworked 32. Anyway they have reopened the dispute and I sent them the ad from OSo where he states that Maximus propellers NEW in all pitches are the same price. I am convinced they understand now that I did not receive what was promised to me verbally and in writing. You have a copy of the add and what I was sent .What does the boating community think? I really feel like I have been unfairly treated. I only want what I was told I was going to get for my money. Nothing more .. nothing less.

You're not being unreasonable in your thinking you've been treated unfairly. Had I received what you received I'd be doing the same as you are now. Hopefully CME steps up to the plate to make things right.

hanks for the heads up,,they will never get business from me or any in my boating circle.they've shot themselves in the foot on these deals.

FWIW...

Recently, I bought a new part for my race car. It was an oil filter block adapter that has in and out oil ports. I installed over a weekend, and found that I had an issue with my valvetrain being dry and ticking. I went though several oil and oil filter changes, not to mention hours upon hours of troubleshooting. On a whim, I switched the in and out hoses on the ports. BEHOLD, no more ticking. I chalked it up to me making a mistake in plumbing, and was so happy it was fixed, I just went on with other tasks.

On Monday, the selling dealer contacted me, letting me though there was an error in manufacturing and the in and out ports were labelled backwards. Between the dealer and the manufacturer, they refunded my money, sent me the new/correct part, AND paid for all of the oil and oil filters I wasted.

THAT'S how things are done when someone other than the consumer makes a mistake

And we will NEVER get the CC boat manufacturer address either whom buys this at manu cost thru Merc and they have testing props and used stuff in which YOU GUYS ARE GETTING from you know who -- WITH ZERO warranty and NO return address for any warranty claims. Like I said Merc is not warranty anything in which is bought thru CME. And I know first hand.

In another post from the past -- LMAO that a transom assembly was bought by AD that CME sold and the trim sender did not work from the get go - so CME cuts a trim sender off at the wires from another transom assembly and ships it to AD - WOW what great service - what a f in hack cobb job for a transom assembly. . Again he thinks all boat owners are dumb and do not know any difference.. .And for the record - trim senders / wires do not come to be spliced together.

And for another record -- the OP --- his prop was used and all cleaned up and restamped for the sale. Another hack job to boaters -- That was not a NEW PROP out of a new box, sorry to say. .

I agree, but for some reason its not that way in the Marine industry

We have been in business for 7 years and have many very happy customers all over the world!

This customer received what he ordered and was told we do not offer any returns on propeller purchases which was clearly
noted on his invoice. He contacted us via email a week after his purchase and also after he was using the propeller.
We told him we do not offer any returns on propeller purchases. He then processed an Amex charge back for the purchase
which Amex reviewed and ruled in our favor. I'm sorry he's not happy with the charge back outcome and had to go and try to
discredit our company here and on social media.

So,

You're stating that a re-stamped 32 pitch prop is the SAME as a NEW 30 pitch prop ?
and that a credit card company, who wouldn't know the difference between a prop or a potato, sides with you
SO It's ALL ok ?

Seems to me,
YOU are the one discrediting your company.. not the OP...
