We had a customer that received a New Bravo I Propeller he was not happy with the condition it arrived in. He stated it was damaged in shipping so we offered him to return it for another one. If propellers are damaged in shipping we offer returns or exchanges. What you sold him, and what you sent him are two different items altogether. I would not have inspected the prop and markings after pulling it out of that box. He didn't find out that it wasn't right until he ran it on the boat. Pay for the shipping back, and refund the man his money. Plain and simple. |

My prop magically must have changed into a reworked 32 pitch prop from the stock 30 pitch I ordered and you said you had..... maybe it happened in shipping??? |
Here is the ad that Coastal Marine Export has in the classified section of OSO. NEW propellers any pitch... Mike even charged me more than was advertised... I thought I would be receiving a NEW stock 30 pitch Maximus. Just like he said in the attached text string. I received the 32 pitch prop that is shown in my photos.. The box is a factory Mercury box that is marked as a 30 pitch. That is not what was in the box. I received a re-pitched prop. It is not what I was told I was going to receive. I am willing to spend a significant amount of time and money until this is resolved. I have the proof to back up my claim.. This is not right to do this intentionally to a customer. You can see the box is marked as a stock 30 pitch but what I received is a 32 pitch reworked to a 30. I will accept a full refund including shipping. That is the only way to make this right. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...adfedcd13e.png |
Notice how the add says NEW.... not reworked.. I ordered a new stock 30 pitch prop.. I received something else other than what I was told you were shipping.. just not right.. |
Like I said in a past post -- Im the bad guy here for exposing about look for your serial numbers when buying applicable Merc parts and other marine OEM parts. So if one thinks I m still the bad guy here so be it. . See CME looks at you guys as being dumb --- heck these dumb boat owners do not know anything that serial numbers and tracking numbers comes with many Merc parts so magically all of that is gone before shipment to the buyers.
1. CALL MERC and B I T C H like H E L L. Its their parts that they are allowing to get peddled here thru a C. C. BOAT MANU and out the back door of the international shipping warehouse in Miami. They continue allow this as admitting from CME for 7 years straight of daily peddling MERC parts all over the webs and misrep parts to the buyers.. WOW Merc shame on you to even allow this -- when many real Florida Merc dealers have to maintain dealer buys and requirements also have a min of one cert tech working the service center. I am shocked that the dealers are not up expressing their voice of deep concern up here. And for the record that is a used prop and not even a current manu prop. . Jeez you could nt even get a decent box as well. Again CME looks at this as you guys are dumb and would never know about any of this especially serial numbers and warehouse tracking numbers so forth and so on . . . |

We have been in business for 7 years and have many very happy customers all over the world! This customer received what he ordered and was told we do not offer any returns on propeller purchases which was clearly noted on his invoice. He contacted us via email a week after his purchase and also after he was using the propeller. We told him we do not offer any returns on propeller purchases. He then processed an Amex charge back for the purchase which Amex reviewed and ruled in our favor. I'm sorry he's not happy with the charge back outcome and had to go and try to discredit our company here and on social media. Should we send anything back to the CC boat manu that these parts are coming from or the Merc Miami International warehouse or Land N Sea warehouse ? |
Seems very clear that Coastal Marine did not ship what was promised. I would direct Amex to this thread.
OSO should also be a resource as they are allowing this guy to continue to advertise. |
I have been in this business for 35 years and around performance boats for over 40 years, longer than many of you have been alive. Why don't you go to your local dealer and support them. We all discount parts, props, transoms, etc. If you want to come down and hang out at the clubhouse (our place of business) you have to pay dues. Many of you go to your local dealer and ask why does my motor do this or that and after we diagnose it you go online and by from the cheapest seller you can find. You borrow props and say thanks and go online without even asking if we can match a price. Online sales will end up destroying the local guys. Then who will you turn to on Sunday when you have a boat load of people and need a rocker arm or whatever. All I can say is I don't have any sympathy for what you receive from sellers online. Everyone is in business to make a living and pay their bills. Everyone, even the guys online selling parts at cost. That last sentence says it all.
