Optimal running temp for 500 efi

Finally got some time to toy with the new BT and have a couple of questions? number one is what temp is right for a 500efi I took it out and ran it and one motor was running around 180 and one was running around 150 so I took the thermostat out of the hotter motor and it is a 140. Im guessing it is just shot from sitting but am curious if that is the proper stat. number two is there are three acc. switches on the dash no. 1 does the silent choice but I cant seem to figure out what the other two are for. Has anyone ever tried to get a wiring diagram from BT. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks, JustinOptimal running temp for 500 efi-black-thunder.jpg

Nice ride. The three switches on the dash control silent choice, compass on/off and the third on my dash is a dummy. As far as temps go, mine run at 150 all day. Never higher or lower. Bobs in and out of the factory right now but I ll be up to see him next week. What diagram do you need?

NICE BOAT. Switch might be the power point. Higher temp could be weak water pump impeller.

thanks for the replies. The first thing I did when we picked boat up was change the impellers and the motor that runs hotter did have a very chewed impeller so I am wondering if some of the rubber is stuck somewhere but on all the other boats I have dealt with the first place it gets stuck is the thermostat housing but when I took that apart I found nothing I am going to check the lower hoses but I need a smaller guy to get down there as I dont quite fit. as far as a wiring diagram I am looking for a diagram of the gauges/ switches because I have some lights and thing that I would like to wire in.
