Hi this is Jen, Jay's girlfriend. I just wanted to report he is home now and in a lot of pain. He has a broken nose and has bruising and swelling to his brain. He is also bruised from head to toe. The boat is ok, just has bent throttles. I just wanted to extent my appreciation to all of you for your support, phone calls, and cards. When Jay is awake he keeps telling me he will be back on the water next weekend. I DON"T THINK SO!!!!
As for the news reports please don't believe anything you hear or read. For the boat to jump 20 feet in the air the boat must be running off rocket fuel. :D
As for the REAL story Jay was on his way to the marina to pick me up, he was going by Marble Island when he hit another boats wake. His boat was still turning which caused it to land on its port side jarring him back and forth. His friend was not injured. And we both THANK GOD HE WAS WITH HIM, he was able to get Jay to the marina and get the help he needed. I extent my gratitude and love to him for helping save my baby's life. It has been a very scarey and sleepless time for all of us.
Thanks again for all the support. I will keep you all posted along the road to recovery.

Hope he gets back at it when all is well Jen. I'm finally at my own dock now, but I used to have my little 22 Stingray next to his Fountain. Appreciated his help there as well.

hang in there.

When it comes time to do so, just pull the controls and ship them back to the manufacturer. They can swap out the sticks for new ones pretty easily; and should not be expensive.
