The boat appears to be in forward motion. You can tell by how the water is cresting at the bow. If you look close you can tell that he does not have his lanyard on. :D

Though I've never needed it......It's good to know it's there.

That ad is the clearest message that could ever be sent about the recreational boating hobby and industry. Boating is so much fun that nothing bad could possibly ever happen. Hang off the bow, get 30 of your best friends and pile them on, grab some brewskis and we're off for a day of fun in the sun.

If it is a stepped hull he is about to spin out!!!!
