We have a 1988 251 with a stock 454. The boat is really clean and well taken care of. It has all the usually stuff on the 88's. What do you think it is worth?

You see them advertised any where from $13 -22k. It depends on the condition and hours of the boat. In my opinion it really depends what the bank will loan on a particular boat unless you have a class buyer. If everything is super clean and the trailer is in good shape I would say $18K might be a realistic #. BTW, I love the late 80's 251's, that was the boat that turned me onto Checkmate.
