Roots blowers are tight in a 251. Looks like you have a 253, not sure how they fit. This is a pic of mine before I bought it. Previous owner had monster power.... Triple digit speeds.
The rear seat was moved forward 2 inches, the bulkhead behind the seat had to be cut for belt clearence, and a scoop was added. When I bought it he put in a small block to keep his motor for a cat. I didn't like the hood scoop so I cut it off. Luckily he gave me the originial hatch cover pad that was uncut.

I don't have any pictures of the hood scoop before I hacked it off. I just didn't like it in the way. I'd much rather had my girl in a bikini laying there catching some sun..

Sorry, I was actually referring to RJBBC.
I didn't know they had a one piece back seat and hatch. You have any pics of the setup? Everytime I have to do anything associated with the front of the engine the words contortionist, gymnast, and bat (sleeping upside down) come to mind.

Shah Mat,
I took this short video about a month ago when I finished installing a set of Eddie Marine hatch hinges. Obviously, at the time, I didnt get to put the interior back together. You have to love the speed at which the hatch operates now.
I am thinking of not telling my wife, maybe I can catapult her off the sundeck when she pisses me off.

We have a 2000 259 Convinvor. Our hatch (sunpad and rear seat back) are also one piece. May be difficult to move foward with this type hatch.

Dave,
Yeah, you're right. However, she does come if its not too hot, not too cold, not too sunny, not too cloudy, mid-week, promise not to go over 40 mph, not hit any waves, buy her lunch on the water..... lets see, have I forgotten anything?? What a pain in the ass.. But as you said, most times its better without them.
