Real nice job. What product did you use for painting the engine compartment? I'll have to post some pics of my 1991 251 when complete. Mine is white with two tone pinks. Is the interior new as well? I took mine to Checkmate a couple of years ago and had the newer version interior put in. Real nice people to deal with.

I just used urethane base-clear. Not too hard to spray for a novice like me although a bilge finish is a lot different than a show car.

Oh and BTW, I never got a chance to post my finished job...... I had a poker run late June and another one last weekend. Got so busy I never took any final photos. It turned out pretty good at first glance, but there a lot of imperfections that I learned how to "Not to do" for next time.

The headers and tail pipes are CMI's. What a great exhaust system!
The tails themselves were around $950 I think. That was a few years ago so prices may have changed. I ordered them from Fred @ Trick Marine.
