Hey everyone,
Just wanted to put up a post, just entered the Checkmate family
Boat is a 94 Convincor216, 454, bravo one, spinning 23 pitch mirage
Took the girls for one spin last Sunday then winterized and summer already can't come fast enough
Thanks guys

If someone knows more about a boat this size and what prop would maximize top end performance (without being a slug out of the hole) i am open to suggestion. I am spinning a 23 pitch mirage now and I am toping out about 66-67 at 4700. Maybe thats all I'll get out of it but figured I'd ask
Thanks guys

I am not sure about WOT RPM either seemed about right to me I have a freind with a 30' convincor with twin BBC and bravos w/ cones and he thought I could run a 25-26 pitch (which he runs) and get more top end. I'm not sure if the prop would be different diameter i.e. more pitch and differnet diameter means a little less rpm but more speed top end... The 23 pitch im running now I have absolutly no problem out of the hole full tank and 3-4 people with tabs jumps up from idle...
Maybe I'm being greedy but who doesn't want to get the most out of their rides am I right lol
Thanks for anyones imput....I would just love to see 70mph
